howjsay.com: Pronunciación de Palabras en Inglés
Yo soy de esas personas que en el inglés escrito andan bastante bien, pero que a la hora de pronunciarlo vamos muetros, pudiéndo inluso hacer el ridículo delante de personas.
Acabo de conocer -gracias a BitPerBit- a howjsay.com: un sitio que tiene como fin enseñarnos a pronunciar aquellas palabras que no nos salen.
No se si alguna vez han intentado conseguir algún libro que tenga las pronunciaciones de las palabras, o si han abierto un diccionario a fin de leer y probar las pronunciaciones de algunas palabras. Yo lo hice y no resultó nada provechoso tener que leer ese código que utilizan para ello.
Con howjsay.com esto no sucede, ya que luego de buscar la palabra que queramos, desde la misma página podremos escuchar la pronunciación de la misma.
Cuenta ya con 82135 pronunciaciones, y está abierta la posibilidad de añadir más. Sin dudas, una herramientas muy útil.

AIDS

Human health

Solution to Pollution
The technologies we are using today release different types of pollution on land, water resources and air. All the governments are allocating a lot of research funds to develop new technologies that will eliminate or at least reduce the pollution being generated today without causing any hardship to our lifestyles. Even if such a technology is developed and implemented, it will create new types of pollution itself. Also anyone who has studied human behavior knows that there is really no end to human desires. If a technology to control the pollution in satisfying one desire is discovered and successfully implemented, then we will have another desire that generates much more pollution. Therefore it is impossible to control pollution by developing new technologies to reduce the pollution being caused by existing technologies. I named this Murty’s Law on Pollution. As human population keeps on increasing, so does pollution. The following are essential to control pollution: 1. Limit the population, and 2. Adopt simpler lifestyles that will create less pollution in the first place. The idea that some future technology is going to eliminate pollution, change mankind, empower generations, bring the world together and save the environment is just more of the hyped promise of the technology revolution

Ingredients:
2 lb thin beef steaks, skirt steaks are a good choice
12 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbs ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Serve with: Ecuadorian style rice, fried egg, homemade fries, fried ripe plantains, tomato and onion curtido salad with cucumbers and lettuce, avocado slices, and aji criollo or hot sauce.
Preparation:
Mix the crushed garlic, cumin, salt and pepper together to make a marinade for the meat.
Rub the garlic cumin marinade on the thin steaks and let marinate for a couple of hours.
Grill or fry the steaks over high heat to desired doneness; since they are relatively thin they won’t take too long to cook.
Serve the steaks with a crispy fried egg or two on top and accompanied by rice, homemade fries, fried ripe plantains, tomato and onion curtido, lettuce, cucumber slices, avocado slices and aji criollo.

DEFINITION OF MILK

• DEFINITION YOGURT

Each species of bacteria stimulates the growth of the other, and the combined products of its metabolism result in the characteristic creamy texture and slightly acidic flavor. Yogurt also contains other additives such as milk solids, sugar, fruit, etc.
NUTRITION INFORMATION OF YOGURT
• The milk makes yogurt more digestible and thus find people who can not tolerate cow’s milk, yogurt may be taken calmly, without being affected.
Yogurt is a good source of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus minerals that are most important for our bones, the curious thing is that these minerals are in greater quantity in yogurt than in milk. It is as though the organisms that ferment milk into yogurt also make it more gastrointestinal we increase the amount of some minerals, yogurt reduces the proportion of cholesterol contained in milk before fermentation. For every 100 grams of yogurt obtain 180 mg of calcium, magnesium 17 mg, 240 mg of potassium and 7140 mg of phosphorus.
